Welcome back for the latest updates on Strategikos!
I've two announcements for today:
First, I have recently written an article examining the geopolitical dimension of the political crisis in the Maldives. As you may know, in the past weeks the islands have been shaken by a political turmoil following President's Yameen's decision to declare the state of emergency. While this event may at first seem a move in the context of a domestic struggle with the opposition, in reality the situation is more complex and involves a geopolitical competition between India and China in the region. If you want to know more, don't hesitate and read my article, which has been posted by both Eurasia Review and Geopolitical Monitor!
Second, I'm glad to observe that the website has reached more than 1,000 views since its launch: a small progress, but still a sign of interest that I sincerely appreciate.
That's all by now, I'll be back soon with more analyses. Stay tuned :-)
