Here I am again!

Last time I promised to be back soon with another publication, and here it is.
Maybe someone was able to interpret my hint: it was a line from Highway to the Danger Zone, the intro music of the film Top Gun.

So, here's my analysis on Top Gun, where I explore how the movie portrays the values of the Reagan era. As a matter of fact, it is an excellent example of how a film can be a powerful mean to represent certain political values; and in general of the  links that films have with international relations and politics. I may even come back on this issue in the future...

Anyway, I really advise you to have a look, I think it is an interesting work on an unusual theme and I made my best effort to write it well. Here is the direct link.

Reading while listening to Top Gun's own soundtrack is highly recommended, it should... Bring back that lovin' feelin' ;-)

I wrote this paper in the context of a seminar on "International Relations: Cultural issues" that I followed during my Master's program; and I was offered the opportunity to publish it on CECRI's website.
